3-Hour Whale-Watching Tour
From April to October, the waters around Victoria are home to three known pods of killer whales. Explore the local waters via an open Zodiac vessel or a 46-foot covered motor yacht in search of whales, porpoises, sea lions, and other marine animals while a knowledgeable expert provides educational narrative.
Vancouver Whale-Watching
Cruise through the Gulf Islands of Vancouver in an open-air or semi-enclosed Zodiac as professional naturalists narrate the entire journey. As the boat wends its way through the islands, be on the lookout for orca whales, Dall's porpoises, seals, eagles, and many other marine creatures.
Discover Kaikoura's Whales
Travel along the coast to Kaikoura, where the ocean's continental shelf comes in close to the shore, bringing with it a wide variety of marine life. On a whale-watching tour, see the giant sperm whales—often as long as 20 meters (66 feet)—and, with luck, encounter orcas, pilots, or rare blue whales as well. After lunch in Kaikoura, visit a fur seal colony and make a stop at a Canterbury winery.
Half-Day Whale-Watching Adventure
Between September and December, the town of Hermanus welcomes a most magnificent guest—the Southern Right whale. This cruise offers you the chance to observe these graceful creatures first hand.
